What better way to see all that historic Chester has to offer than a ramble around the centre taking in all the best points of interest - particularly the historical ones.
You don’t have to be a hardcore walker to enjoy this walk - it’s a lovely one to do no matter your skills. The route is a mixture of paved areas, and a few steps complete with a forest area. You’ll be rambling along the River Dee and Shropshire Union Canal as well as the centre itself. Many seasoned hikers describe the route as beautiful with plenty of opportunity to stop and enjoy a bite to eat and drink too. (fingers crossed for lovely weather!)
As with all our rambles, we do recommend that you’re wearing suitable sturdy footwear so those feet and ankles are protected!
