Length: 9.2km
Elevation: 315m
Approximate Completion Time: 2 hours 45 minutes - 3 hours 30 minutes
Rambler Rating: 4.5 stars
The perfect opportunity to visit the inspiration behind Wuthering Heights and the scenic views favoured by the Bronte’s!
This walk is not for the faint-hearted as you set off on what has been described as a moderately challenging ramble across the Moors.
The challenge will be well worth it as this particular trail is known for being a less travelled path to the Waterfalls and Top Withens but with the additional bonus of being perfect for bird watching and stunning views.
The trail does begin outside of the village of Haworth so please do be aware the ramble is slightly longer than 9.2km but still very enjoyable. Be sure to have your camera ready during the last section of the trail as you look down into the valley and cross the reservoir… competition worthy entries!
The route is partially paved but as always, we do recommend you wear suitable footwear to support your feet and ankles. Other ramblers report there are muddy and steep sections but nothing too strenuous!
