Ironbridge Gorge & Blists Hill, 15/08/2025

Did you know the Ironbridge is the oldest bridge made from cast iron in the world? This is just one of many fun, unique and interesting facts to be found from your trip to the Ironbridge Gorge Museum! In the displays, you will learn about the work that happened here during the Industrial Revolution as well as understanding Shropshire’s towns and transport developments  over the last 250 years - historical moments to behold!
 
There’s a change of scenery for the afternoon, as we arrive at Blists Hill Victorian town, as we step back in time to experience life in the 1900s. You will have the chance to visit shops and cottages of this traditional era, as well as meeting craftspeople showcasing their trades. There will of course, be some fantastic food available to tuck into. This is a very exciting day for those wishing to step back in time and live in what feels like a different world!
