Keswick & Optional Art Deco Elegant Afternoon Tea 18.05.24

PriceFrom £20.00

What a lovely time of year to visit the Lakes!

Keswick is a great place to visit for it’s vast array of shops, cafes, museums and galleries aplenty and of course, the gorgeous lake of Derwent Water and accompanying theatre by the lake.

If you fancy stretching your legs, Castlerigg Stone Circle 3000 BC is a 40 minute walk outside of town - perhaps the most atmospheric and, dramatically sited of all British stone circles with its panoramic views and the mountains of Helvellyn and High Seat as a backdrop.

If you want to make your trip EXTRA SPECIAL, why not book for a sumptuous Art Deco Elegant Afternoon Tea too?

Join us as we head back in time to the 1930’s as we go to Bassenthwaite Lake Station to have a most sumptuous afternoon tea aboard the train used in the 2017 film of ‘Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express.’ (Well if it’s good enough for Johnny Depp and Dame Judi Dench it’s good enough for us!)

The exceptional menu is shown below and as you can see, it’s as decadent as the beautiful art deco surroundings. Another one to strike off your bucket list. ✔
