Lakes & Castles - Llanberis & Caernarfon, 09/08/2025
Fancy a day out wrapped in the stunning natural beauty and history of Wales? Then why not join us as we experience not one, but two of Wales’s finest tourist attractions.
Our first stop is the charming town of Llanberis, within the Snowdonia National Park. This is an area of natural rugged beauty, peppered with numerous slate mines. Llanberis is a truly impressive place steeped in history yet still retaining an air of tranquillity - pure escapism!
We will then make the short journey to the grand medieval town of Caernarfon, perched on the North Wales coastline and dominated by it’s imposing Castle. Walk in the footsteps of Royalty as you stand on the famous balcony where traditionally the newly-anointed Prince of Wales was presented to the crowds below. Beyond the castle, the impressive 14th century town walls provide breathtaking views of the surrounding area, or you can visit one of the many charming shops, galleries and cafes where you can sample the delectable local Welsh treats. Be sure to bring your camera to capture these magical memories just waiting to be made!
