Home to 660 listed buildings and most famous for being the birthplace of Charles Darwin, Shrewsbury offers so many attractions to choose from. The fabulous Shrewsbury Prison is a TripAdvisor highly rated must do (admission not included), or you may choose to visit the Castle instead. Or will you visit the Cathedral with its stunning stained glass windows? Don’t forget there are so many lovely independent shops and cafes to explore too. But, do make sure you save time to take a stroll down to ‘The Quarry‘: a beautiful area of greenery with its own ’secret’ garden        designed by Percy Thrower called ‘The Dingle‘. 
 
The River Severn runs through the town forming a loop around Shrewsbury with payable boat tours running on the hour from 11am to 4pm. With so much to do in this destination you will be spoilt for choice!
