Roll up, roll up! One of our favourite destinations Shrewsbury never fails to make for a fantastic day out. The beautiful Quarry and Dingle Gardens by the River Severn are a delight to stroll around at this time of year - it’s bloomin’ marvellous. Maybe even take a picnic and lie back in the sunshine (We always have hope!) Other attractions include Shrewsbury Castle, proudly looking over the River which has been the site of battles, rebellions, and even a few ghostly whispers over the centuries (Eek!) With Shrewsbury Prison (a major tourist attraction), plenty of independent shops and lovely cafes, as well as being just a really pretty place, we give Shrewsbury 10 out of 10!
