Our day trips to Skipton are always so popular, and it’s really easy to see why - what’s not to love about Skipton?
 
Market day is always a merry day at Skipton, with many local gifts to buy from the local traders. The market is also a great source of fresh local produce, including Yorkshire classic cheeses and warming Yorkshire pudding wraps - it makes your mouth water just to think about it!
 
There’s also plenty of time to mooch around. How about going on a boat tour on the canal (admission not included) to unwind and relax? Check out the quaint local shops and tearooms, no day trip is complete without pausing for a cup of tea and slice of cake and you are sure to find something to tempt you here in Skipton.
 
Once you are done, there should be time to head into the main town to experience the historical sights too!
