Our day trips to Skipton are always popular, and it’s so easy to see why — what’s not to love about     Skipton? 
 
The gateway to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales is rich with history and culture and has one of the best-preserved Medieval Castles in England (which is over 800 years old!) With cute independent shops, food and drink places galore, a famous market and stunning scenery it draws many tourists not only to the town but the surrounding countryside to enjoy its stunning walking routes. 
 
For picturesque views, head towards Gargrave Village or take the Aire Valley towpath route. Most of all, Skipton is proud of its friendly and passionate Yorkshire People ready to greet you with a lovely warm welcome.
