Here you will find the loveliest shops and eateries as well as attractions like the quirky Laurel and Hardy Museum. But that’s not all! Today is the celebrated Retro Festival so everyone is in party mood!

Retro Rendezvous is a celebration of all things vintage with the market at its heart. Add to that, free entertainment with music playing all day long, vintage cars, motorcycles, scooters, and fabulous stalls selling yummy food and drinks, what’s not to love! If you are feeling energetic, there will be time for you to climb up to the Hoad Monument - often referred to as the Ulverston Lighthouse (though it has never functioned as one) and enjoy wonderful views of Morecambe Bay and the southern Lake District.
