Easter Weekend Plans
Thursday
Our trip begins with a stop in the ‘capital of the Cotswolds’ - Cirencester. Step back in time and discover this historic Roman town with it’s impressive amphitheatre before we settle in to the elegant Blunsdon House.
Good Friday
Next day we embark on a trip to Bath, the original well-being resort. The famous waters are still a big draw today both at the ancient Roman Baths and the modern Thermae Bath Spa which houses the only natural thermal hot springs in Britain you can bathe in. The stunning honey-coloured Georgian architecture is straight from a Jane Austen novel, including the iconic Royal Crescent., surely a good way to spend Good Friday.
Saturday
On Saturday we will explore the chocolate-box charm of this delightful region discovering the quaint stone towns and villages of the Cotswolds. Be sure to find time to enjoy tea in a traditional tearoom and browse the local independent shops.
Easter Sunday
On Easter Sunday we visit Bristol, where there is so much to discover including the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge, the bustling harbour, museums and art galleries, or maybe take a Banksy Walking tour to see the elusive street artists work firsthand.
Easter Monday
As we make our way back home on Monday there is still time for pop into Stratford-Upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare, bursting with Elizabethan charm.
Treat yourself to some indulgence and join us for this cosy Easter break.
