The Christmas markets are always something to look forward to, and an essential part of the festive buildup for many. Our Coach and Cruise experience offers you a wonderful opportunity to experience the Belgium markets in all their festive glory whilst enjoying all the luxuries cruising has to offer (at a bargain price).
Your experience begins with our executive minibus/coach taking you directly to the port in London Tilbury so there is no need to worry about travel arrangements to the port - we will chauffer you to ensure you have a relaxed and comfortable journey!
As you board Ambassador’s Second Lady: Ambition - prepare to be warmly welcomed and WOW’ d! From the plentiful different dining options, to the bars, theatres, swimming pool and entertainment lounges, there’s something for every one on board. Every cabin has been designed and furnished with the goal of creating your own relaxing sanctuary.
Each cabin type comes with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, a flat screen TV, safe, air conditioning, generous storage, an en-suite bathroom, UK plug sockets and USB charging ports so there’s less to pack and more space for all those Christmas market souvenirs!
Day One - London Tilbury/Sailing
Today is all about the excitement of going on your Christmas Market cruise! Our minibus/coach will collect you from your chosen pickup point start the journey towards the port in London. Don’t worry, there will be a comfort stop en route to stretch your legs and use the facilities before you embark on Ambition and get yourself settled into life on the ocean waves!
Day Two - Antwerp
Your first port of call will be the elegant Antwerp, famous for its historic squares to cutting edge building designs. Your day today includes a scenic cruise along the River Scheldt during which you’ll enjoy some stunning and varied scenery and a chance to enjoy the city itself which is a short public transport journey away (approx. 15 minutes). Be sure to sample the Antwerp Christmas Markets and enjoy one of the best Christmas markets you’ll ever experience!
Day Three - Zeebrugge/Bruges
Today promises to be another jam-packed day full of adventuring and exploring. Disembark the ship at the port of Zeebrugge before deciding whether you’ll explore this maritime, historic port and area or travel to Bruges via the shuttle buses to visit the Winter Gloed Festival. Experience the Light Experience Trail, charming wooden chalets offering you oodles of sweet treats and mulled wine or even enjoy a carriage ride through the cobbled streets before heading back for your final night on board.
Day Four - Sailing/London Tilbury
It may be your final few hours on board Ambition before you disembark and hop back on board our minibus/coach back home, but be sure to make it count by rising early and purchasing your last souvenirs on board and enjoying a hearty breakfast! The perfect end to a wonderful adventure!
