Day One
Before you even reach your hotel, you can experience the welcoming town of Skipton with its abundance of shops, cafes, tearooms, fabulous market and even its own Castle all waiting to be explored. With a warm Yorkshire welcome it’s no wonder that Skipton is one of our favourite places to visit.
Day Two
Spend the day in the majestic city of York. There are so many things to see and do here - you will be spoilt for choice! There are museums celebrating everything from the Vikings to the Victorians, not forgetting the fabulous Railway Museum. Or, delve into the chocolate making process with the delicious aromas and tastes of the York Chocolate Story. Enjoy a walk around the city walls for panoramic views or embrace the superb shopping area that this wonderful city has to offer.
Day Three
Enjoy the day exploring Harrogate itself: a charming city with delightful independent shops and galleries, Turkish Baths and pretty parks. Be sure to make time for afternoon tea at the famous Bettys Tearooms - a very pleasant way to pass the time.
Day Four
We are whisking you off to wonderful Whitby!
This charming seaside town has all the elements of a traditional seaside experience, including some of the best fish and chips money can buy. If you can muster the energy, take the famous 199 steps up to Whitby Abbey and discover its connections to the story of Count Dracula.
Day Five
It’s time to bid a fond farewell to the delights of Yorkshire and the Northeast as you head home with a heart full of memories and good old Northern hospitality.
