Haworth 24/09/2026
The picturesque hillside village of Haworth is closely connected with the Brontë sisters and their literary legacy.
Visitors flock to the Brontë Parsonage Museum to learn of their early life growing up in this beautiful corner of West Yorkshire. It is hardly surprising that it has been the basis of so many works of literature as the scenery is picture-book perfect.
The village itself feels like a time capsule. Watch steam trains rumble by at the Station where ‘The Railway Children’ was filmed; visit the Victorian Cabinet of Curiosities and treat yourself to some old-fashioned humbugs in the traditional sweet shop.
Take in some culture at the Art Gallery and stop for a well-earned break in Villette’s Coffee House. Most importantly, take time to admire the breath-taking scenery that surrounds this idyllic spot.
