This is a varied town and country route taking in a mix of streets, farmland paths, hillside tracks, and wooded trails. Starting in Buxton, the route winds through the town and heads out along the River Wye to the farm fields, climbing up the hillside to Grin Low and Solomon's Temple, a Victorian folly dating to 1896. Enjoy the views from the summit before winding back to the start via Grin Woods. Please note, there may be livestock along the farm paths, including bulls so great care should be taken.
Take care on the rougher paths as well as the road sections. Some sections may get rather muddy at times, so waterproof outdoor footwear is advised.
