Our Rail & Sail Norfolk Broads holiday is the perfect break away, filled with adventure and exploration of this iconic area.
The tour begins with a leisurely Sunday drive down to Norwich, with a comfort break in the picturesque town of Newark on Trent - famed as the place where King Charles I surrendered during the English Civil War, once owned by Lady Godiva and where King John died in 1216. Discover the historic Newark Castle ruins and stroll around the characterful market square, browsing independent shops and cafés before enjoying views of the River Trent before we board the coach and continue on The Holiday Inn in Norwich - our home for the duration of our break.
We arrive at the Holiday Inn in the mid to late afternoon with plenty of time to unpack before your three course evening meal.
Guests can enjoy contemporary en-suite bedrooms with complimentary Wi-Fi, a flatscreen television, air conditioning, tea and coffee-making facilities, and family-friendly accommodation options. Hotel amenities include a restaurant and bar, a health club with an indoor swimming pool, gym, steam room and spa facilities.
With its welcoming atmosphere and convenient location, the hotel provides everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
